It really bothers me when I see so many brilliant and talented people miss the chance to achieve the life of their dreams because they neglected to promote themselves as a BRAND!

As my subscriber, I want to give you an ebook I wrote on how to explode your personal brand online:

You see, success in life has a lot to do with being able to “sell” well. And I’m not talking about selling products and services. I’m talking about selling YOU!

When people hire you, give you a promotion, buy from you, listen to your advice or even go on a date with you…that’s because they are “sold” on who you are and what you stand for.

Remember this, “people only do business with other people whom they know like and trust”.

But too many people are too shy to promote themselves as a brand in a big way. Or they feel bad about putting their best face forward. This should not be the case because I’m not talking about bragging or boasting. I’m talking about branding.

In fact, with the growth of social media websites, you can no longer afford NOT to promote yourself if you want to stand out. It’s a lot easier than you think and its very effective!

So if you want to attract more opportunities for success, you need to brand yourself starting right now. Have read of the ebook and let me know if it helps you.

Editors Note: Hi there. Brian here. I know it’s been awhile… we’ve just welcomed a new baby to the family, and things have been rather hectic around here. But, I’m back and I want to share something pretty awesome with you. I’m sure you know by now what the Law of Attraction is all about and how you can use it to achieve the life that you’ve always desired. I’ve invited my friends, Steve G. Jones, world-renowned astral projector and clinical hypnotherapist, and Frank Mangano, author, researcher, health advocate and entrepreneur in the field of alternative health, to share with you their interesting insights on the fundamental principles of the Law of Attraction. I hope you’ll find the article useful. Don’t forget to leave a comment below with your thoughts.

Hi. I’m Frank. I’m an author, researcher, health advocate and entrepreneur in the field of alternative health, among other things. And a steadfast believer of the Law of Attraction. But, we’re not here to talk about me. I want to share with you some fundamental principles of the Law of Attraction that I discovered in my journey, and how it can help you in yours.

The whole idea behind the Law of Attraction is that you are your own creator. You can create what you want your life to be. You can create happiness, wealth, abundance, and so much more. It is all up to you. The universe is unlimited and you can take advantage of this by incorporating the Law of Attraction into your life.

Because the universe is unlimited, your potential is unlimited. You can be the strong, powerful, and confident person you want to be. By simply asking for something, you are working towards creating it. The Law of Attraction is all about using different techniques and exercises to create wonderful things in your life.

Once you realize how powerful you are and how you can manifest anything into your life, the Law of Attraction will become easy for you. Once I realized what I wanted, I did everything I could to make it happen. I asked for happiness and wealth and began to view the world around me in a more positive way. For me, the universe answered quickly and I am very thankful for what I have.

Creation’s Domino Effect

Even after you get what you ask for, creating other things becomes easier. It is like a domino effect. When one thing falls in place with the Law of Attraction, more follows. It is a fantastic process and very empowering. You can create a better life at a much faster pace when incorporating the Law of Attraction.

Abundance is an extremely plentiful or over-sufficient quantity or supply. You can create abundance in your life by incorporating the Law of Attraction into your life. Abundance means feeling fulfilled and satisfied with what you have. Wouldn’t that be a great goal, to feel satisfied and abundant?

What’s great is that you can easily attract abundance into your life by incorporating a few simple steps into your life. Having positive thoughts and feelings about yourself and your future will help you feel abundant.

Picturing And Attracting Abundance

In order to feel abundant, it’s as easy as picturing it. Picturing living an abundant life will help you attract it into your life. Imagine what it would feel like to be satisfied with your life. Imagine all the components that would help you feel abundant including relationships, wealth, happiness, wealth, lifestyle, and things.

All you need to do is decide what would help you feel abundant and attract it. Incorporate visualizations and reminders into your life. Keep your thoughts and feelings positive and hopeful of your future and get rid of negative feelings and experiences of the past.

Attracting abundance into your life will help you in so many ways. You will feel good about yourself and what has been given to you by the universe. If you don’t already feel abundant, I want to encourage you to ask for it from the universe. It will change your life for the better.

Appreciate And Receive

An important aspect of the Law of Attraction is appreciation. Both before you have received what you want and after, it is important to express appreciation for what you have. If you are just now starting to incorporate the Law of Attraction, it is important to appreciate what you already have. Sure, there are many things you want to change, but you have a lot of good things going for you in your life and it is important for you to appreciate those things.

The act of appreciation creates positive energy. When you thank the universe for what you have, you are telling the universe that you want more of it. This is a powerful technique that you can use many times throughout your day. For example, if you would like to improve your relationship with a significant other, you should be appreciative that you are in a relationship. You can also express appreciation for your significant other by thanking them for all the good things that they do for you.

Many people use the Law of Attraction to attract wealth. No matter how much money you have, be appreciative for what you already have. Thank the universe for the cash you have in your wallet or the amount you have in your bank account. This tells the universe that you like what you have and the universe will answer your request with more money.

Once you receive what you have asked for from the universe it is very important to appreciate it. You have focused a lot of your energy on asking for it, so now you must focus that energy on appreciation and being thankful that you received it. Appreciation is only possible when you allow good things into your life. When you allow good things into your life, you must be thankful for it.

The simple fact of the matter is that people, you and me included, are often just computers that have been programmed to think and act a certain way. We have our triggers and more often than not they can be exploited by marketing and sales people.

I want to bring up this point because as an entrepreneur you need to know when you are being sold. And you also need to know how to sell people. What are these triggers, you may ask. If you haven’t already I recommend reading Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert Cialdini. It’s an insightful read that reveals what triggers people to do certain things. He also calls these triggers “weapons of influence” and for good reason too.

This is very important for sales. If you can hit on these triggers, you will have already generated automated sales. It’s like a button. You press it and people do what you want them to do. And knowing these triggers makes your life easier. You don’t have to think of a new way each time you are doing a launch or promotion. People are slaves to habit and if you can work these triggers and influences into your product or business, your residual income stream is already set.

And on the personal development front, I find that knowing your triggers and real reasons for your actions can help you grow and reshape your consciousness for a healthier attitude and better living. A lot has been ingrained in us since birth and in order to change bad habits and negative thinking, you must understand where it all began.

If you haven’t the time to read Cialdini’s book, then read this quick article on one of the major triggers found in pretty much everyone. I bet you’ve fallen prey to this once or twice.

(source)

“Money money money money money

Like anyone with any faith in humankind, you rail against the professionalisation of commonsense: because however much the seedier targets of this column might enjoy spending their customers’ money, baubles are impermanent. We’re not interested in consumer issues. The greater crime, by far, is that quacks and miracle cure merchants disempower us; and, moreover, that we love it when they do.

A paper currently in press for the journal Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes addresses this issue explicitly. Participants were given a quiz on American history, with the opportunity to win cash rewards for correct answers (since we’re all simple experimental animals deep down), and the option to get advice for each question. The ‘advice’ was simply another student’s answers, perfectly likely to be wrong, and a reasonable model for self-appointed experts: it was from no great authority, and the experimenters were quite clear about this.

The participants were either offered the advice for free, or they were offered the opportunity to buy it. They were offered either option at various times, and it was made absolutely clear that the advice was of exactly the same quality, whether it was free or not. Participants were significantly more likely to follow advice they had paid for – and change their answers in line with it – compared with advice they received for free. We are suckers.

In fact, it’s already been a very good year for paying for things which should come free.

So suddenly you and your best friend have thought of a great idea to generate some passive income.

Sounds brilliant, right. Well it could be the start of a beautiful partnership but is the ending necessarily the same?

So these are 5 questions that you need to ask yourself and your business partner. If you think things are tricky when you’re not making any money, it’s when you start making LOTS of money that things become more difficult. Especially if you have a business partner.

What is our business’s exit strategy? Is there one?

What is the best way for us to handle and resolve conflicts?

What proportion of the income belongs to who? How much of the company do each of us own?

What are our roles and responsibilities in dealing with the business?

What do you and I expect from each other in terms of work load, growth, and responsibility?

Having a business partner may decrease work load but if it’s not an explicit partnership, problems may arise that could ruin a business. It’s better to discuss these things before jumping into anything first. Just because you’re good friends doesn’t mean you’ll be good business partners.

It’s everyone’s dream at some point or another. To create something so amazing you just live off the licensing fees or royalties without having to lift a finger. Instead of clocking in your hours, you’re cruising on your yacht off the coast of Monaco.

Sound too good to be true? For most people it is, but not you. Because you’ve already taken the first step by telling yourself you will live off residual income and not waste your time slaving away for someone else.

So if you’re creative, an inventor at heart, or even just good at repackaging an idea, you may want to look into this residual income strategy. This article below gives you the pros, cons, and hows to creating a product that will generate you a profitable income stream.

“Create Products For Income That’s Passive And Massive

Ever have an idea to fix a problem or surmount a challenge and then see that very same product in a store a few years later?

And you think, “Hey, they stole my idea!”

Chances are, unless your telepathic powers are fairly high-level, the inventor didn’t steal your idea. He or she just acted on the same concept that was floating around in the collective conscious. The difference is action.

If you have seen your ideas reproduced later by other inventors, don’t be discouraged. In fact, you should be encouraged. Here’s why:

Correctly identifying needs and solutions is a good sign that you can be an inventor or a product developer. To take that next step, you need to learn how to introduce your product into market. There are primarily two ways to accomplish this. You can either invent, produce, and sell the product yourself; or, you can license the invention to someone else and collect a royalty, a percentage of the sale of that product.

Most inventors prefer that latter, since it’s more hands-off and inventors like to keep their “hands on” new ideas. It’s another form of residual income that will help you secure your financial freedom.

Introduction to Passive Income

How to Make Money By Creating Passive Income

The easiest way to gain financial independence is to reconfigure your life so that a substantial portion of your income is not actively earned by your labor. Instead, it must come from what those in finance call passive income. In fact, the idea of passive income is closely related to the Berkshire Hathaway model, which I explain in an earlier feature.

The basic idea of passive income is that it is money received with little or no effort required to maintain the flow of income once the initial work has been done. Some common examples of passive income are:

Rent from real estate properties

Patent royalties for an invention

Trademark licensing fees for characters or brands you’ve created

Royalties from books, songs, publications, or other original works

Profits from businesses in which you have little or no day-to-day role or responsibility

Earnings from Internet advertisements in a blog or on a website you own

Dividends from stocks, REITs, equity mutual funds, or other equity securities

Interest from owning bonds, certificates of deposit, other other cash and cash equivalents

Pensions

Residual income for a sales person on accounts that are typically renewed automatically such as a sporting goods representative that earns a commission on his accounts, bringing in a few thousand dollars per store per year for simply servicing the customers once they have been opened

Generating passive income can be difficult at first but of the 3 major types of income (earned, portfolio, and passive) it is the most steady.

With earned income you only get paid if you work. But what happens when you’re laid off or fired? With portfolio income, you would be investing in future, bonds, or stocks. Sadly, the average return on the stock market is 8%. And there’s always a chance that the market will crash and head into a recession.

That’s why passive income is becoming more and more popular. It is robust and offers a very steady income stream.

Here are 10 ideas that can get the ball rolling for you. Let me know what you think about them.

How to Create Sources of Residual Income

In this tough economy it seems almost everyone is looking for ways to supplement their income. With more and more people losing their jobs and the cost of living increasing, many folks are turning to the internet to seek sources of residual income. For those of you who aren’t familiar with residual income — this is a source of passive income that comes keeps rolling in long after you have put in the initial effort. Previously, only actors and authors earned “residuals” for their work, but the internet has changed all of that and there are now many ways to make money online and create residual income.

Instructions

Sell Your Photographs Online: If you have some basic photography skills and have a good eye for creative and unique shots, then you should consider selling your images on some of the various microstock photography websites. You can sell the same images over and over again and create a consistent flow of residual income. The more images you have in your portfolio, the more money you can make.

Sell Your Writing Online: If you are a freelance writer or even if you just dabble in creative writing, you can sign up for a multitude of content websites that allow you to sell your articles online. Many of these content websites allow you to sell your articles for usage, which means they can sell over and over again to interested parties. In some cases, once you have sold a good amount of articles on these content websites — you will begin to get private requests for your writing and this will allow you to charge higher rates.

Writing Your Way Into Residual Income

Do you like to write? Do you know HTML? Can you upload files? That’s pretty much all it takes to earn residual income on the internet. Any additional skills learned along the way will only be a plus. The internet has a host of information and will teach you everything you need to know to make money and become successful at it.

Let’s take this a step at a time:

THE WRITING PROCESS:

If you like to write, write a few articles. What to write about? Well, here’s my theory. There are four areas to think about to help you begin writing:

1. Write about what you know: In my case, I have over 20 years of commercial insurance experience. I’ve written several articles about insurance. No, it’s not my favorite topic, but it’s what I know and I have earned residual income from that knowledge.

2. Write about what you want to know: I want to know more about health, fitness and healthy eating so I write articles about it. I research, learn and share my knowledge with anyone who is willing to read it.

3. Write about what you do: I’m an at-home mom and freelance writer. I write about what I do. I write about the way I save money and share tips on frugal living and housecleaning and other such topics.

Blogging for Income — A Passive Income?

Last week two posts popped up in my RSS feeds with the words ‘passive income‘ in their headings.

BJ asked — So Where’s the Passive Income? and Dave writes about Growing a blog or blogs as a source of passive income.

The idea of passive income is obviously one that many people strive for — and it’s a term that I’ve heard used many times to describe online income streams — including blogging.

Unfortunately I wouldn’t use the term passive income to describe blogging for income.

While there are a few aspects which could be described as passive — the overall experience that I’ve had is anything but passive.

Where is Blogging for Income ‘Passive’?

Archives — Perhaps the main area of where blogging has an element of ‘passivity’ to it in how it can earn an income is when it comes to your archives.

I’ve been blogging now for close to 4 years and in that time would have published over 20,000 posts across my own blogs. While the writing of these posts is anything but passive (more on that later) the great thing about it is that even after those posts drop off the front page of a blog they continue to have earning potential.
